This revolving cable car takes customers from the bottom cable car station all the way to the top cable station onto the flat summit of the 260-million year old Table Mountain. The top cable post is 1,067 m above sea level and you are able to observe the city getting smaller as you go higher up the mountain. The ride will take about 5 mins and there are cable cars going up and down every ten to fifteen mins. You can also trek up to the flat summit, which stretches out for 3 kilometeres, or take the cable car.

 

After exploring the beauty of the short walks on top of the mountain, you can either return in the cable car or otherwise select the more adventurous way of clambering down the side of the mountain.
